The purpose of this page is to demonstrate that sparc meets the architecture recertification criteria for etch.
If some of these requirements are irrelevant or implausible for the port, please add a waiver request indicating why and how this isn't a problem for the arch in bold.
Availability
The architecture is publicly available without NDAs via:
Developer machines
The following machines are available to developers:
vore.debian.org - hosted at visi.net
auric.debian.org - hosted at visi.net
As of 2006-07-10, none of these do actually work. auric is restricted and vore has been down for quite some time.

Installer
The installer is being maintained by the d-i team with Frans Pop taking a special interest in Sparc and it's currently working effectively. Help is needed on getting d-i working better for newer hardware though. Successful installation reports are available at:
