What can you do?

• Help with existing QA efforts
  • Ask what's going on on IRC, or by email (read the archives first to get an idea)
• Start a new QA effort: start a discussion on IRC or on the mailing list to get feedback!

• Help maintain the QA infrastructure (the qa.debian.org BTS page is a good start)

• Fix orphaned packages (also orphaned packages with the wrong maintainer), subscribe to bug-reports against orphaned packages

• Fix RC bugs

• Help with bugs tagged help, security, unreproducible

• Look for packages that should be removed: totally buggy, useless, obsolete ... (see this page)

• Write man pages (list of packages that need man pages)

• Help fix problems reported by Debcheck

• Keep an eye on packages with QA as maintainer via debian-qa-packages mailing list

• Help fix common mistakes in wnpp bugs. This report is updated daily : WNPP Inconsistencies Report
