piuparts is run constantly on all suites in the main Debian archive, the results are available at piuparts.debian.org.

piuparts does not convert "UNRELEASED" to "unstable". Developers often set the distribution to "UNRELEASED" in their changelog until it's time to release, because doing so avoids accidental uploads. If you want to pass that value from the changelog to piuparts (e.g. with dpkg-parsechangelog), handle "UNRELEASED" as a special case.
