rt2800pci è un driver prodotto dal progetto rt2x00 che supporta i chipset PCI Ralink 802.11n. I dispositivi supportati sono elencati alla fine di questa pagina.
È incluso nella versione principale del kernel Linux a partire dalla versione 2.6.33 e sostituisce il driver rt2860sta nella sezione staging presente in Debian 7.0 "Wheezy" e rilasci successivi.1 È necessario del firmware che è disponibile nel pacchetto firmware-ralink.
Il supporto sperimentale per i chip RT3060, RT3062, RT3390, RT3562 e RT3592 è stato abilitato in linux-2.6 2.6.38-5; il supporto RT3390 non è più sperimentale a partire da Linux 3.0.
I dispositivi Ralink 802.11n USB sono supportati dal driver rt2800usb driver.
Installazione
Debian 7.0 "Wheezy"
Aggiungere una componente "non-free" a /etc/apt/sources.list, per esempio:
