Nel caso si desideri installare Debian su un sistema con Microsoft Windows, si può usare win32-loader (alias "Debian-Installer Loader", caricatore del Debian-Installer) da http://goodbye-windows.com/

Vantaggi

  • Non è necessario ottenere, masterizzare e quindi avviare un CD.
  • Il proprio sistema Windows può essere preservato.

Problemi conosciuti

  • L'installazione via PPP non è attualmente supportata.

Pacchetto Debian

Se si ha accesso ad un PC basato su Debian, si può installare su di esso il pacchetto win32-loader e poi usarlo su un computer con Microsoft Windows.
