How To use Wifi network adapter
Gnome: Right Click on Gnome Panel -> Add to panel -> Select Network Monitor -> Click Add. You will see a network status icon. Right click on it and configure your wireless Device. (network-manager-gnome)
KDE: Install network-manager-kde if its not installed already.
WPA : using wpasupplicant
Theoretically, you can just install wpasupplicant :
apt-get install wpasupplicant
Look at the [http://manpages.debian.net/cgi-bin/man.cgi?query=wpa_supplicant.conf&apropos=0&sektion=5 wpa_supplicant.conf] manpage to determine how to write it.
