Presentation

This effort has initially been set to allow viewing problems in WNPP bug reports easier.

More recently, we started to use faceted tags, that are useful to categorize prospective and work-needing packages in many ways, suitably for maintainers, people willing to maintain or help with packages, people filing RFPs, mentors, subprojects, etc.

Tagging rules

Tags will be filed as wnpp@packages.debian.org

Faceted tags

These are a subset of debtags (for facets looking most useful), plus some WNPP-specific tags. (last sync: 20080306)

Tags matching debtags

(feel free to keep them up-to-date!)

Further tags for facets matching debtags' ones

If you feel like using tags different from those above, please add them here below! If you feel like using other debtags' facets, explain here why. :) Some of them might be included in debtags soon!

Some examples:

Tags for debtags-specific facets

This is an incomplete, temporary list. You can also use the below legacy tags, maybe they will be replaced.

Legacy (non-faceted) tags

Maybe a "no-more-interest" for ITP and ITA bugs?

Utnubu-Tags

The Utnubu-Team also uses usertags to tag ITP's where there is already a package in Ubuntu, and where duplication of effort can be avoided. See http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?tag=already-in-ubuntu;users=utnubu-discuss@lists.alioth.debian.org
