Finance procedures
The Debian Project Leader has procedures to manage the way expenditure is requested, authorized and paid for.
Task description
The Debian Treasurer team:
- keeps track of Debian project assets (including domain names, trademarks and other intangible assets), income, expenditures and any other financial information
- defines policies, processes and workflows for approving expenses and accounting assets
- defines criteria and processes for organizations holding assets in trust for Debian, keeps track and proposes to the DPL changes in the list of Trusted Organizations (as per constitution §5.1.11 and §9.3)
