Task description
The Release Team manages the release cycles for testing, stable and oldstable.
For testing, this usually includes coordinating library transitions and release goals. For stable and oldstable, the team approves uploads.
Get involved
Have a look at the BTS for bugs that can be closed.
Have a look at the mailing list archive for outstanding issues and file them as bugs against release.debian.org
Fix an RC bug from this list of RC bugs (scroll down to 'useful queries').
