Task description
The Debian HPC Team is up to package HPC-related programs and libraries in Debian, to make as easy as possible the usage of such pieces of software. The final goal is to be empower users to deploy production-ready HPC clusters running Debian. Necessary software to do that include (but is not limited to):
A job scheduler (Slurm, ?GridEngine, ...)
OFED distribution for Infiniband
- IFS stack for Omni-Path
- Communication libraries
- Performance Benchmarks
- Containers for HPC environments
Distributed Shells (clustershell)

Version Control System
Most of our packages are maintained using Git, more specifically with git-buildpackage (for building), git-import-orig+pristine-tar (for upstream tarballs) and git-import-dsc (to acknowledge NMUs).
Our repositories are available on Salsa (debian-hpc group). You can browse online our repositories.
