Kit list per talk room

Audio

2x Headset Radio Mic
2x Hand-held Radio Mic (omnidirectional, because people hold them the wrong way)
2x Mic Stands (Good for getting people to queue up to ask questions - use with hand-held mics) (we have 1)
4x 2m XLR cable (mic receiver to snake)

• Radio Mics need to be licence free in all 3 ITU regions
• We need to be able to change frequency to avoid interference with other users
• Radio Mics are a minefield regarding licence and available frequencies we can use, the licence exempt spectrum (not 2.4GHz/5GHz) is not wide enough and does not permit more than 2 mics to be used.
• We should purchase only 1 room worth of kit NOW and re-examine later...

Camera

• DSLR sounds nice nut are not suitable for our application because we need units to run for long periods (DSLRs can't keep the CCD cool enough for continuous operation)
• We are using SDI as our video interface and really DO NOT want to use adapters.
• Camera will be used indoors (low light)
• Optical zoom for head shots at 25m away
