The sponsors team are in charge of fundraising for DebConf each year. This means contacting potential sponsors and working with them to solicit donations to funding the next Debian Developers' conference.
The required budget for each year differs due to the changing locations. Esp. the cost for venue rental (if any) and the costs of flights from common departure airports to the DebConf city determine a significant portion of the annual budget.
