Debian Cloud Delegates

The most recent formal delegation was made by Sam Hartman on 2020-04-01. Since that time, one of the delegates has resigned, and leaving the following team members as official delegates:

Usual roles

• Noah Meyerhans maintains Debian AMIs for the Amazon AWS marketplace

• Charles Plessy maintains euca2ools and used to maintain cloud-init. Experimented the use of DebianInstaller to create AMIs. Currently inactive.

• Thomas Goirand maintains Openstack

• EmmanuelKasper created Vagrant base boxes. Currently inactive.

• SteveMcIntyre runs the regular builds of official Openstack images

• ?ThomasLange is the maintainer of FAI which is used for creating the cloud images https://fai-project.org

Task description

Support Debian usage in the "cloud".

In particular, the team maintains Debian images and other resources for public, private and hybrid clouds.

Get involved

• Test our images and report your impressions.

• Maintain software necessary to create or run cloud images.

• Support Debian images on a platform where we are not yet present
