Usual roles
Kenshi MUTO (IRC nick kmuto) is the core maintainer. He is looking for someone to take over CUPS maintenance.
Martin PITT (IRC nick mpitt) is the maintainer for Ubuntu and also contributes a lot to the vanilla Debian package.
Martin-Éric RACINE (IRC nick Q-FUNK) functions as helpdesk to respond to bug reports. He also maintains related package CUPS-PDF.
Task description
This team maintains CUPS in Debian and Ubuntu.
Get involved
We mostly need help with bug triaging:
Mark "My printer model doesn't work" bugs with the "cups-printer" usertag. - Mark packaging bugs with the "cups-packaging" usertag.
- Mark codebase bugs with the "cups-codebase" usertag.
We could really use someone for:
- taking over maintenance from Kenshi, who already expressed a desire to move on, during the Etch freeze.
