Background: I am a PhD student in computer science at Marmara University. My MSc was in computer science at Dokuz Eylul University. My major was at computer science at Canakkale 18Mart University. I was graduated from major at 2009. I have been working on free and open source projects since 2005. Mostly I have worked with PHP, Python and Java. I have worked for developing a ?PfSense based firewall using PHP. My team at major ranked 8th at IBM programming challenge. I attended GSOC 2012 and successfully completed the project. I have been worked on mobile application for video conferencing using WebRTC. Some of my project can be found on Github. I am applying this project not only for GSOC but also to be continuous committer to the project. I have developed a small wordpress plug-in as well. I translated some document into Turkish.
Project titleImproving voice, video and chat communication with free software
Project details: I would like progress on as much as issues for Free RTC. During the GSOC period I would like work on plugins for WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, Mediawiki, Redmine and Django. WebRTC is very useful to use in such applications. All of them support using Javascript for plugins.
Benefits to DebianWhen we complete the plugins I believe the popularity of Free RTC and Debian will increase. These applications are widely used in the Internet.
Deliverables: Plugins for each application.
Project schedule: I can start working as soon as the accepted student announcement.
- 23 April - 7 May: Working closely with project and reading documentation. Try to write sample applications and fix simple bugs.

Exams and other commitments: I have only one final exam at the beginning of June.
Other summer plans: My plan for summer is to work on this project. I can go on vacation after 23 August.
Why Debian?: I love the free mindset of Debian. Also the community is very active and strong. I have been using Debian for 11 years.
