  • Background: B.Sc. student in computer engineering at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University in Turkey. Have experience in coding, algorithms, software workflow. Currently studying on making Debian packages and making a project which helps Anvio project .

  • Project title: Continuous Integration for all biological applications inside Debian

  • Project details: The Debian Med project has packaged a lot of useful tools for bioinformatics etc.. Some of these are containing a test suite but we want to approach a 100% coverage to increase the quality of those bio tools. In this project as many as possible autopkgtests should be added.

  • Synopsis: Cover 100% of Debian Med packages with test suites.

  • Benefits to Debian Increase stability of Debian-Med packages. Making easier to test packages. Gaining an enthusiasting team member.

  • Deliverables: Making packages which did not in the repositories of Debian-Med and making test suites as much as possible to take stability higher.

  • Project schedule: I start to work on project but i have classes also. I start to focus project now and continue when GSOC coding start. I expect to work all summer and if i can, continue to work on Debian-Med team.

  • Other summer plans: I'll work on a little project which assist Anvio project.

  • Why Debian?: Because i think Debian is the spine of the free software and if i can make contribution to Debian i help all community.
