Intro

• GSoC will have a presence at FOSDEM in 2016
• Debian will have a presence at FOSDEM in 2016
• There are opportunities to collaborate on informing the community about work completed in past GSoC projects and recruiting students for 2016 and beyond.

People who want to attend FOSDEM with travel assistance program

• Copy the first row and modify it for yourself
• All cash amounts are EUR
• Github, other link: link revealing something about your recent free software activities during 2015 (e.g. Github, blog)
• FOSDEM plans: mention anything significant you are doing at FOSDEM as a speaker, volunteer, etc
• Travel cost: cost of travel between your home and Brussels accommodation
  • add any local costs for travel to your local airport
  • if flying, add 30 EUR to cover the train to city center and the taxi from ULB back to airport
• Need accommodation: Y or N.
  • You do not need to specify prices, we will try to make a group booking for 2 nights (Friday night and Saturday night)
  • if you have somewhere to stay, e.g. with friends, write N in this column
• Bringing car: if you write N, we will anticipate you need ride sharing, taxi vouchers or tram tickets
• Minimum cash requested: in the event we don't have enough money to cover 100% of the funding requests and if you had to pay your own hotel and travel costs, what is the minimum amount we could give you that you would still come to FOSDEM?
• Have Debian T-shirt: if N, we will budget to provide you with a T-shirt. Bring the GSoC T-shirt too.

• Arrival: when will you arrive? We would like to understand whether anybody will have time to participate in any activities before the Friday beer night. Debian or Google may organize a FOSDEM Fringe event if there is sufficient interest.

• Note: we may not pay reimbursement until at FOSDEM or afterwards. The money will be handled by Debian France and probably paid in EUR.
