• Summary: Integrate OpenID support in alioth accounts

  • Some knowledge of OpenID
  • Willing to gain more knowledge of GForge (alioth.debian.org)

• Description: Almost all the Debian contributors and developers have alioth accounts but not official Debian accounts into db.debian.org since not all of them are official developers yet. We've some more services like mentors (mentors.debian.net) with their own authentication system and others were there is no authentication system in place yet. Integrating OpenID support in alioth accounts we will be able to have single (but distributed) sign on for Debian developers and contributors.
