Here are a few potential ideas of things people could work on, in no particular order. Please add items to this list if you plan on something not listed.

  1. working on testing and merging the pybuild-autodep8 feature

  2. fixing the ~50 packages that are still using 'python3 setup.py test'

  3. fixing all the packages that still use nose

  4. reviewing and merging unnoticed salsa MRs on the Team's packages

  5. fixing policy violations

  6. upstreaming CPython patches (see this pad)

  7. trying to remove all remaining Python 2 packages (see this email thread)

  8. working on PEP 668

  9. working on lintian tags for the team (see this email thread)

  10. patching tracker.debian.org (Django) to show pending MRs

  11. migrate the packages building with the flit plugin to the generic pyproject one.

Food

We will ask Debian to sponsor our meals. Since food costs varies a lot depending on location, our budget request to the DPL will be based on:

If you want to your food to be sponsored for the sprint, please add your name and city to the participants list before October 15th. You can always join the sprint by adding your name to the participants list after this deadline, but we won't be able to sponsor your food.
