Here are a few potential ideas of things people could work on, in no particular order. Please add items to this list if you plan on something not listed.
working on testing and merging the pybuild-autodep8 feature
fixing the ~50 packages that are still using 'python3 setup.py test'
reviewing and merging unnoticed salsa MRs on the Team's packages
upstreaming CPython patches (see this pad)
trying to remove all remaining Python 2 packages (see this email thread)
working on lintian tags for the team (see this email thread)
migrate the packages building with the flit plugin to the generic pyproject one.
Food
We will ask Debian to sponsor our meals. Since food costs varies a lot depending on location, our budget request to the DPL will be based on:
the U.S. Department of State foreign per Diem rates for people outside of the USA
the U.S General Service Administration per Diem rates for people in the USA
If you want to your food to be sponsored for the sprint, please add your name and city to the participants list before October 15th. You can always join the sprint by adding your name to the participants list after this deadline, but we won't be able to sponsor your food.
To get reimbursed, you will need to keep your receipts and follow the steps listed here: Teams/DPL/Reimbursement#How_to_get_your_reimbursement.
