DebConf Videoteam Sprint

Dates

We plan to sprint from Monday November 20th to Thursday November 23rd, a few days before the Cambridge Mini-DebConf.

This will leave us Friday November 24th as a setup day for the Mini-DebConf. If everything goes well, we can also use the 2 days of the Mini-DebConf to sprint.

Venue

TBD. ARM will likely NOT be able to host us. RattusRattus: I am awaiting call backs from a couple of possable venues in and around Cambridge.

We are also looking into using an AirBnB rental house as a sprint location.

Getting There

See the Cambridge Mini-DebConf wiki page.

Accommodation

See the Cambridge Mini-DebConf wiki page.

RattusRattus: I can offer FLOORSPACE for 2 people at my home.

There is also the possibility of renting a whole house through AirBnB for the team.

Agenda

TBD.

Budget

It seems hotels are £66-100 and B&Bs £40-55. Setting a £70/person/night limit on accommodation reimbursement thus seems reasonable.

  • pollo: £600 for transport (flight, train, subway) + accomm

Acknowledgements

the sprint has been possible thanks to:

  • donations to the Debian project

  • ARM and all the people who helped organise the Mini-DebConf
