Open source developer since 2001 with a lot of work on the Wine project. Over the years, wrote some of my own projects as well, some of which are:
Rsyncrypto - rsync friendly encryption.
SSHpass - A tool for providing non-interactive password to SSH's "keyboard interactive password" authentication.
Fakeroot-NG - A reimplementation of fakeroot using ptrace to induce fake root, rather than LD_PRELOAD.
My latest effort is developing a new C++ style programming language, called Practical (compiler's source on github). At this point it is very much a work in progress, with the aim of combining D's easy compile time execution and introspection with C++'s orthogonality of features and performance (don't all languages sound like that?)
Currently helping out with organizing DebConf 2020 in Haifa.
