Build Time Test Suites

Goal description

Make sure that all packages with priority required and important, which come with an upstream build-time test suite, run it during Debian package build. If the upstream test suite fails and the failure is relevant to Debian, the package build should result in a FTBFS.

Current status

• This is missing an advocate
• Some packages run upstream build-time test suites during build, some don't
• Bugs tagged with usertag build-time-test-suite are included in this goal

How to help

• Report bug against packages which come with upstream build-time test suites when those test suites are not run at the end of Debian package build

• Fix bugs tagged build-time-test-suite
