You use an [[RFP]] when:

 * You would like to see some software packaged for Debian
 * It is not packaged yet (see http://packages.debian.org to check)
 * No [[RFP]] or [[ITP]] has already been sent for this package (search in the wnpp pseudo-package at the [[BTS]])
 * It is eligible for inclusion into Debian (for example, it is [[DFSG]]-free. Also, check http://www.debian.org/devel/wnpp/unable-to-package )
