About Me
I'm Michael Casadevall. I've been a Linux user on and off for the last several years. I know x86, m68k (somewhat), and AVR assemblers, and I take an invest in operating system design. I did some work on hurd-i386, before moving onto linux-m68k; I current maintain three buildds for that architecture. I suspose its worth noting I use a Dvorak keyboard, and I'm looking into possibly using Colemak.
Current Projects
- m68k Testing
- I'm currently mirroring unstable and I'm working on creating an experimental testing distribution using the official update_out scripts. It is with my hope we can work on releasing a testing distribution of m68k as we begin to prepare the architecture for re-release (currently targetting Lenny r1 if we get TLS in time).
- m68k etch updates
- Since etch was released, the m68k port has not been updated. I intend to correct that after we get caught up with unstable. I've already created the necessary wanna-build databases to bring etch from r0 to r4, and to also build security updates release for r4. I'll host it on nemesisnetworks.com until we can get this loaded into the offical Debian etch-m68k release
- Coldfire
- If creating a mixed distro where coldfire and m68k binaries can be used interchangable proves impossible, I intend to bootstrap the coldfire port.
* buildd.net - I voluteer here to work on updating the site and making any fixes. Please, if you run a buildd, participate with buildd.net
