    • gcc-4.1 is the default, retry these or whatever package created the segfaulting app
    • illegal instruction vs. segfault
      • libgc fails with -O2 and -O1, but builds with no -O? and-O0.
      • same as cmake?
      • try building mpfr -O2 once this is fixed
