Right-click on the box and select Preferences. On the Resources tab, turn on 3D acceleration.
Using virt-manager
If you are using virt-manager to test Debian on Lomiri in a virtual machine, you need to enable 3D acceleration. If you don't, then Lomiri and Lomiri's login screen won't start.
In the VM Details sidebar, click Display Spice. Set Listen Type to None and click the checkbox to enable OpenGL.
In the VM Details sidebar, click Video, set Model to Virtio and click the checkbox to enable 3D acceleration.
- Apply and restart the VM. If at any point you see warnings saying things like 'OpenGL only works with... 3D acceleration enabled', that means it didn't properly save.
