LXQt: The Lightweight Qt Desktop Environment
For developer, please see https://wiki.debian.org/Teams/LXQtPackagingTeam for more information.
Install LXQt in Debian
LXQt is available only for testing and unstable - it will be fully in the next stable (Stretch). There are no backports planned for Jessie - the needed dependencies are not there and it would not be wise to backport them. So please use testing or unstable or be patient. Thanks.
One could install LXQt on a fresh minimal system with apt - depending on one's need this could be:
# apt install lxqt-core
# apt install lxqt
# apt install task-lxqt-desktop
There will be live-iso's soon.
