Notes from Debian LTS meeting on 2021-04-29 These notes are purely from memory, as the recording failed. 1. Greetings and introductions A round of what people enjoy about the LTS work, and some questions to introduce Lynoure Braakman, who is taking on LTS coordination. Common things that popped up as factors that make LTS work interesting were: variablity of the work, the goal being clearly defined and clearly meaningful. 2. Revisiting Holger's role now that Lynoure is shifting to it: what should be done differently & what more? There was not much reaction to this topic. 3. 25% time, what would make it more appealing to take There was some talk about things to could make interesting 25% work, mostly related to improving tests. 4. Gitlab-CI for the (E)LTS-packages (gladk) gladk gave an introduction to the gitlab-CI setup he had done. 5. Setup shared access to private security repos with more patches (Ubuntu ESM, RHEL, RedHat Fuse/AMQ...) (Beuc) Sometimes access to private security repos would help with doing the security patch work. The access doesn't seem to be very expensive, but it would seen at least prudent to let the providers know that our intended use case is not securing a single RedHat or Ubuntu machine, but to use the access for the Debian LTS work. Raphael took an action point on this. 6. No other business 7. Next meeting is on IRC on 2021-05-27 15 UTC
