The Debian diagrams collection contains a diagram that consists of mostly the archives of my attempt to document the life cycle of a debian software package and its relationship to the various people and servers

What are you doing nowadays in Debian ?

hangout on #debian to help folks with Gnu/linux and Debian questions.

What do you think of the Debian-Ubuntu collaboration ?

it is both good and bad. when individual developers work together, its good. Other attempts like pushing back changes to debian have not worked as they are not easy to integrate. This is getting better but it will take time.

What do you wish for the future ?

That ubuntu folks who have not been involved in Debian, get familiar with the debian culture.

other work

I was involved in a Free software educational non-profit called CFSG that uses Debian as its preferred OS. It taught mostly young adults about free software, free culture, hardware basics, basic computer useage and what ever we can thing of to interest them. It was located in New York and was always looking for hardware donation. It received the help of John V. Belmonte <jbelmonte@debian.org> in 2006 in helping to recycle donated hardware. The group is defunct as of 2008.
