KestrelHPC (homepage) is a set of scripts, which alleviate a lot of the trouble dealing with creating a Beowulf cluster. The scripts assume that you have already installed Debian Lenny/5.0 .
After installation the scripts take care of some of the following: * NAT * DHCP * installation of appropriate Debian packages * netboot for the clients * more fill here
KestrelHPC is an augmentation of PelicanHPC (homepage), another set of scripts, which sit on top of Debian Lenny/5.0 Live.
The main difference between KestrelHPC and PelicanHPC is that Kestrel is a permanent installation, on hard drive, while PelicanHPC is a ramfs-only Beowulf solution.
