In the past year my limited work on packages has mostly been on fixing release-critical bugs that look like my low-hanging fruit. I am an undergraduate mathematics student in the Midwest US. I've been primarily triaging bugs for the past few years and am now starting to ramp up my contributions to Debian.

Some things I really like

  • Debian QA, and also CrossCompiling and Clang rebuilds

  • KDE's incredible offerings for documents and education, esp. math and science
    • Okular, Kile, and Cantor w/ SageMath)

    • even has two plotters KmPlot and KAlgebra

  • GnuPG, gpgsm, Monkeysphere, and Scute

    • Using the same key for OpenPGP, X.509, SSH, and other tools is fascinating.
