Debian packaging is available on javapkg git at vasks.debian.org.
- Move to javahelper?
- Run with jarwrapper
- Write a real man page
- Test with openjdk-7 (experimental)
- Package omegat-plugins (tokenizers should be easy, all needed libs are in debian; languagetool has an open itp since 2006, but seems in not too bad shape).
Patches have been forwarded upstream by mail, but are not being followed in the bug tracker.
BASE64 deprecation warnings: there is proposed patch at https://github.com/lurdan/omegat-debian-tmp/blob/master/debian/patches/08-replace-BASE64Encoder.patch, but there are license issues (incompatibility between apache license and GPLv2. although it should be possible to license OmegaT in debian under GPLv3).
