As of 2026-05-04, Debian Trixie can be installed on the Thinkpad T14s Gen6 Snapdragon manually using systemd-boot and debootstrap.

Unable to shutdown if plugged

The system will reboot instead of shutting down if the power cable is plugged in. The current workaround to properly shutdown the laptop is to unplug it before calling shutdown.

For the record, this also happened with Windows.

Update 10/10/2026: This appears to be fixed after an updated UEFI BIOS (Version N42ET99W (2.29)).
