Kernel version must be updated to version 4.1 at least.

Install the package firmware-iwlwifi
apt-get install firmware-iwlwifi

Download the latest firmware for the card from the website https://wireless.wiki.kernel.org/en/users/drivers/iwlwifi#firmware and copy the files iwlwifi-7265-13.ucode and iwlwifi-7265D-13.ucode into /lib/firmware/.
cp iwlwifi-7265-13.ucode iwlwifi-7265D-13.ucode /lib/firmware/
