i installed Sid AMD64 using netinstall in parallel to ms(tm) vista (that came with the laptop)
- (resized the ntfs partition with gparted before the install using [javascript:void(0);/*1230868043636*/ SystemRescueCD] livecd)
so far... i use [javascript:void(0);/*1230867793138*/ nvidia's latest proprietary drivers] and it works just fine.
to get the wireless i had to use [javascript:void(0);/*1230867957495*/ broadcom's proprietary wl module] (compiled from sources)
to make the sound work i changed the /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base and added these 3 lines at the end:
options snd-hda-intel model=3stack-dig
options snd-hda-intel enable_msi=1
options snd-hda-intel single_cmd=1
webcam seems to work with flash player 10 64bit
to be continued (really!)
