so far... i use nvidia's latest proprietary drivers and it works just fine.

to get the wireless i had to use broadcomm's proprietary wl module (compiled from sources)

i installed Sid AMD64 using netinstall in paralel to vista (that came with the laptop) (resized the ntfs partition with gpardet before the install useing SystemRescueCD livecd)

to make the sound work i changed the /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base and added these 3 lines at the end:

options snd-hda-intel model=3stack-dig options snd-hda-intel enable_msi=1 options snd-hda-intel single_cmd=1

webcam seems to work with flash player 10 64bit
