DebianOn is an effort to document how to install, configure and use Debian on some specific hardware. Therefore potential buyers would know if that hardware is supported and owners would know how get the best out of that hardware. The purpose is not to duplicate the Debian Official Documentation, but to document how to install Debian on some specific hardware. If you need help to get Debian running on your hardware, please have a look at our user support channels where you may find specific channels (mailing list, IRC channel) dedicated to certain types of hardware. |

WiFi
firmware-iwlwifi was required for the wireless to work.

3G module
I was not able to have the mobile connectivity (the slot for the SIM is behind the battery) working.
This link theoretically explain how to do (the chip is a HP hs2300 (HSDPA)), but I wasn't able to enable the device from Windows. I did not try too hard, though.
Smartcard reader
The 4-in-1 chip by RICOH which provides the fingerprint reader, memory cards reader, PC card and smartcard reader will probably never support the last under Linux - see this message.
