DebianOn is an effort to document how to install, configure and use Debian on some specific hardware. Therefore potential buyers would know if that hardware is supported and owners would know how get the best out of that hardware. The purpose is not to duplicate the Debian Official Documentation, but to document how to install Debian on some specific hardware. If you need help to get Debian running on your hardware, please have a look at our user support channels where you may find specific channels (mailing list, IRC channel) dedicated to certain types of hardware. |

Important Note
During network installation you are asked for the firmware file rtl_nic/rtl8168e-2.fw. Put this file in the correpsonding directory on an usb-stick attached during installation. This file can be obtained from the firmware-realtek package.
Two SATA ports can be set up as a raid device. Use pci=noacpi dmraid=true as boot parameter for installation, see: Setting up Debian on a Serial ATA RAID device. After Using GRAID as label for the raid device in the bios setup a serail ata RAID jmicron_GRAID device is visible in the partition manager. However, it was not possible to install grub-pc on this device.
