Installation process (with a regular debian stable image)
The rotated display (portrait instead of landscape) and non working keyboard at the installer (it's possible to use an external keyboard during installation) and the non working display/sound at the first boot may suggest that debian is not well supported on the gpd micropc. That is in fact not true because for debian (stable/buster or more recent) to be fully operational on the device one only need to install a recent kernel, either from buster-backports or testing/sid.

Display is in portrait mode at grub. Backlight control works by keyboard and in scripts.
