Hi! |
Line 7: | Line 3: |
I think it's important that pages names includes the word "Install" (may be more important than the word "Debian" which implicit on this wiki). however I came up with this name name to clarify what it is about : !InstallKde vs !InstallDell. also, the page name must be renamed to !CamelCase. | One basic question: On debian-user (Message-ID: <20090226025007.GA17955@SDF.LONESTAR.ORG>) , someone posted a link to a fairly complete and long lenny installation report on his Dell Inspiron 8600 (Link is: http://eclectic.freeshell.org/debian-8600.html) |
Line 9: | Line 8: |
What do you think about it ? | I wonder if it is okay to just say: "This laptop basically works fine. For detailled information, visit: <Link>"? |

If the name is fine for you, I'll take care to rename the pages InstallingDebianOn myself. | Hi, |

Yes, existing pages could be renames under !InstallingDebianOn/Brand/!ModelName then. ---- FranklinPiat [[DateTime(2007-11-19T08:10:47Z)]]---- |
The "Installing Debian On" wiki pages are a place where people can collaborate on the guide (like any wiki page;). Note that each vendor page, like [[InstallingDebianOn/HP]] have some links to Tuxmobile and linux-on-laptop. Those [excellent] sites are the right place to publish such links, IMO. -- FranklinPiat <<DateTime(2009-02-26T07:13:54Z)>> |

Hi, I would like to import desktop computers and laptops from [:Hardware#computers:Hardware]. Can I do it ? What do you think about to rename Installing_Debian_On/ pages as DebianOn/ ? | ---- |

Hi! I'd like to add some inslallation notes about Lenovo B560. There is Thinkpad Category for Lenovo notebooks, but B560 is not Thinkpad. See http://shop.lenovo.com/us/products/laptops/. Should I create a new Lenovo category, or what? -- DhyanNataraj 2011-08-05 |
