Debian on an Asus P5N-E SLI Motherboard

The Asus P5N-E SLI motherboard was introduced around 2007 and its technical specification covers the Nvidia C55 chipset for Intels 65nm and 45nm CPUs.

I did not us the board in SLI mode (!).

The installation went smooth with the wheezy installer, steps with manual interventions are listed the following sections.
