Configuration

WiFi

Must install the package : firmware-iwlwifi wheezy-backports

( You can actually change the mini PCI wifi card by one running libre-software, the Laptop has no PCI restriction )

Keyboard Ilumination Configuration

https://code.google.com/p/pyalienfx/

Download the tarball file of the current version and install it. To run the program, you must run from the terminal the file pyAlienFX.py.

Switch to External Screen

  • - HDMI : There's a guide for Ubuntu that haven't been tested on debian. ( The Bumblebee project is working to make it work, and it will be supported in the future. )

  • - VGA : It works. ( It has only been tested with bumblebee installed. )
