Important Note

{i} Before installing Debian, Secure Boot needs to be disabled in the BIOS. This may require setting an Administrator password, to enable the option. To get into the BIOS, press F2 after powering on the computer.

X-( The wireless card requires non-free, iwlwifi driver. For this reason, I installed via the Debian 10.4 + non-free (GNOME) install ISO, which worked perfectly.

Configuration

Display

Worked out of the box. It's 1080p full-HD, and it is a touchscreen. The only issue with it is that the automatic rotation is messed up. To fix the screen rotation on Debian 10.4 GNOME, I had to create a new file called /etc/udev/hwdb.d/61-sensor-local.hwdb and add these lines to it:

After this, I had to reboot and the screen rotation issues were fixed. I submitted a pull request for this to systemd.

Audio

Worked out of the box, including the volume keys and the volume buttons. Not super loud or very good, but it works.

Mouse

The trackpad works, but is a little weird. At first, tap-to-click did not work, and I could not get a right-click via pressing the trackpad. However, I went into the Tweaks tool and toggled some switches in there, and now I can tap to click and two-finger tap to right-click.

The touchscreen works correctly with a finger.

The included active stylus works, and I tested it with GIMP, Google Keep, and Xournal. Note: stylus input gets messed up when the screen is rotated on Debian Buster, but appears fixed in Bullseye, likely related to Mutter bug 1118.

Power Management

I've never had good luck with hibernation on any computer, so I avoid it. However, suspending works fine with closing the lid, and resuming with opening the lid. Battery indicator works correctly.

WiFi

Did not work on the official Debian installer due to proprietary firmware. I used the 10.4 non-free GNOME ISO to install, and wifi works fine. It is using the iwlwifi driver.

Other

Just in case anyone is considering buying this and is interested in Steam gaming, though it is a low-spec machine, there are some games that do work on it. Nothing demanding, obviously, but even some games work with Proton in Steam, which I found surprising. Some examples of games I am happily playing on it: ?SteamWorld Dig 2, Aeon's End, Block Heroes DX, Hammerwatch, Chasm, Democracy, Onirim, Ascension, Aegis Defenders. It's not much, but it's at least something for casual entertainment when, say, I'm away on a business trip.
