Email: [[MailTo(george_geller AT SPAMFREE speakeasy DOT net)]] What I think: Man, I wish it wern't so hard to learn other (human) languages. I only know English.

= My Debian System =

ECS 482-M Motherboard
ATI x200 built-in video -- working with VESA driver
Athlon 64 3500+ processor
1G RAM
Seagate ATA 80G Hard Drive
Sony CD-RW
Sony Multiscan 17sf Monitor

I installed debian from the debian-31r0a-amd64-netinst.iso

The only hitch so far is that I get errors like:
APIC error on CPU0: 40(40) on the console and in /var/log/messages

I am trying to get the fglrx video driver package working on my system without success as yet.

I changed /etc/apt/sources.list and did apt-get dist-upgrade to get to unstable.
