Ftp master's override
FTP masters can override some fields that are provided by the package maintainer. The purpose is to organize the archive, and select which packages are installed in a base system. The files that contains those hints are located in:
Requests to change those hints should filed as bug against the ftp.debian.org pseudo-packages.
