Frédéric Daniel Luc Lehobey
Email: <Frederic@Lehobey.net> (personal, randomly read) and <Frederic.Lehobey@proxience.com> (professional)
Things I am interested in:
- GPG key transition (I should have done it long ago...)
Things I used to be (and still am) interested in (but not enough time for):
MapOSMatic (see also living fork)
https://wiki.debian.net (before the rough conversion to MoinMoin)
Web sites where I keep some documentation (in French) about Debian:
professional: https://veille.proxience.org/
personal and personal views: https://wiki.lehobey.net/ (things are very slowly moved to the professional site)
Debian events I attended self-supported
- Debconf 8 in Mar-del-Plata, Argentina
- Debian Booth at Solutions Linux, Paris, early 2000 years
- Debconf 1 in Bordeaux, France (in full, I was too shy at the time to be on the group picture: was one of the two guys watching the picture been taken)
- Debconf 0 in Bordeaux (almost not: only Saturday)
Debian events I attended sponsored
Extremadura 2008 (2008-04-02 to 2008-04-06): Debian Science people (actually Andreas and I) meeting during DebianEdu session.
Extremadura 2007 (2007-10-17 to 2007-10-21): Custom Debian people (small group) meeting in the same time as Debian Edu and FAI people.
Soissons 2007 (2007-02-17 to 2007-02-22 for me)
NM stuff
I have not (yet?) applied for personaly becoming a DD (and will not probably any time soon, see statements below).
If it is possible (how? technical details for GPG keys and so on), my company would be very happy to apply to the NM process as a juridical person.

This blog entry pushed me to clearly express here my own view with respect to Debian membership.
I do not want to apply for DM status. The main reason is I disagree with this second class citizen status. To my eyes it should not even exist. My main rationale is voting right (which is different from upload rights) should be given to every deserving member of Debian community (chosen/elected contributors and not only DD as uploaders). It should be the DD status or nothing (nothing is fine for me as long as it does not prevent me from contributing efficiently to Debian).
Obviously (and accordingly) I support http://www.debian.org/vote/2010/vote_002 (thanks! to its supporters).
- I have other concerns with the current Debian constitution (namely the mere existence of a single Debian Leader), but it will be for an other time (I would be happy with a Debian Leading Board).
