What's this?

The front page Debian-related news are a collection of headlines syndicating Debian-related sites. You have also to understand that this is a beta project to see if it's worthwhile to have related news around. Obviously, this news are displayed at FrontPage.

How?

The engine used to process the feeds is [http://www.planetplanet.org Planet], being run each 6 hours, at 05, 11, 17 and 23 hrs, CDT. After getting the content, WWW::Mechanize inserts it on this wiki. NO EDITING!

Please, don't edit anything of the markup containing the front page news or you will make the whole front page break and you, your sons and grandsons will be burn in hell, after being sodomized by a tribe of Mexican indians :-) (No, seriously, please don't edit anything of it, if you are in doubt of something, please let me know).

There are Ubuntu news! Horror!

Well, yes. Ubuntu is a Debian-related project, therefore, most of the sites around publish their news also. Anyway, since I see most of the news around Ubuntu or any other Debian flavour very interesting, I don't feel any pain to allow Ubuntu news on the news. If you have an anger feeling about it, please let me know, we all can discuss it together.
