We would like to have a [[FreedomBox/
ReleaseNotes|version 1.0]] soon. We target including some of the translation work in a 0.7 release for November 27th (Thanksgiving release). We are targeting mid January for a 0.8 release. The main focus of the 0.8 release is going to be integrate in the PGP based SSL Client authentication work. We are planning on a 0.9 polish release for late February with general usability improvements. Join us!

FreedomBox is a free software stack, a subset of the Debian universal operating system, that can be installed in many flavors of cheap and power-efficient hardware. The simplicity of setting up and operating a FreedomBox is similar to that of a smart phone. Continue reading a general introduction or the full list of applications currently provided by FreedomBox.
