Use Cases for User Applications

With FreedomBox, you can:

• Share files:

  • Transfer large files (Deluge, Transmission, I2P)

  • Upload files to your website for other to consume publicly.

  • Privately share files (Bepasty)

  • Keep your files synchronized to your FreedomBox (Syncthing)

  • Locally (Samba)

• Publish web content:

  • Publish a blog (Ikiwiki)

  • Host a personal or community wiki (MediaWiki)

  • Host regular websites:
    • Each user has her own website.
    • There can be a system-wide website.
• Publish multimedia content (photos, videos, music, ...):

• Sync your calendar and contacts (Radicale)
