As a Debian user and contributor, I abide by the Debian Code of Conduct and the Debian Community Guidelines.

My contributions are currently focused on the Welcome team and Debian Local groups. I am also learning how to contribute in packaging.

Elsewhere

I am a father of 4 and a consultant, mostly doing IT freedom advocacy & coaching (software , hardware, content formats, licenses) in and around Montreal, QC, Canada. I focus on enterprise systems support & training, security and migration from proprietary IT.

As a parent I participate in volunteer work at the schools my children attend. As such I am a direct witness of the impact and absurd costs (both monetary and social) of proprietary software and hardware in the classroom.
